President's Message

Dear Members and Friends,

It is with great pride and enthusiasm that I address you as the President of the ‘Association of Medical Women in India (AMWI)’. As we continue our journey toward advancing the role of women in medicine, I am inspired by the dedication and achievements of our members, who tirelessly contribute to healthcare, research, and leadership in India and beyond.

AMWI has always been a beacon of empowerment, fostering professional growth, mentorship, and advocacy for gender equity in medicine. In these transformative times, our mission remains critical – ensuring that women in healthcare have the support, resources, and opportunities they need to thrive. This year, we are committed to:

–Strengthening networks among medical women for collaboration and mentorship.
–Advocating for policies that promote gender equality, work-life balance, and leadership opportunities.
–Enhancing education and research through workshops, conferences, and scholarships.
–Addressing public health challenges with a focus on women’s and children’s health.

I invite each of you to actively participate in AMWI’s initiatives, share your expertise, and help shape a more inclusive future for medicine. Together, we can break barriers, inspire the next generation, and drive meaningful change in healthcare.
